Izak Lorton

Microfabrication Apprentice

Izak Lorton is the inaugural Mechanical Engineering apprentice at ANFF-SA, and has become a key member of the team. He not only brings enthusiasm and determination but demonstrates great diligence and ability well beyond his years. With a background in product design, he has assisted taking many projects from the design phase through to successful testing outcomes. 


He specialises in CAD, CAM, and machining precision components, using optical inspection equipment to ensure accurate and quality finished parts.Izak’s determination to his training has resulted in contributions to groundbreaking achievements, working with clients such as HEO robotics, OOxii, and CERN.

 

Under the guidance of ANFF-SA’s micro-machining experts, he now continues his work on unique machining challenges to improve and grow his skillset.
