Prior to his move to Australia, Mark worked in Formula 1 as a CNC machinist/programmer for the Honda Racing Team, for Brawn GP where he completed a BSc in Engineering Design and the Mercedes AMG Petronas Team in R&D.

Mark's main focus is on the design and manufacture of microfluidic devices and components using the Kira CNC Micro Milling Machine. As of 22 September 2025, he was appointed Facility Manager at ANFF-SA.
